Supporting Happiness in the Closet

Our mission with Happiness in the Closet is to use our platform to share research done with the transgender and/or gender non-conforming community. We created our zine, Happiness in Print, in order to share our work freely to those who want it.  The zine is so much more than just our research. We also invite others to collaborate based on the theme of the issue. 

We are asking for support because it costs a lot to print each zine and to pay the participants in our research studies. Each copy costs at least $1.75 and we typically pay our participants $30 per session. There are also additional costs involved in the research process, providing snacks and refreshments, the cost of community experts who help enhance the experience of our participants, etc.
